Joyce Marie Knece

Joyce Marie Knece 88 of Chillicothe passed from this life Tuesday, February 27, 2024. She was born May 20, 1935, in Ross County to the late Walter Fredrick and Opal Mildred (Ellifrit) Snyder.

She is survived by six children Tania Menendez, Carla Cox, Selena Cox (Bill) Meacham, James Cox, Dawn Knece and Stephani Knece Johnson;16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; and her beloved dog Coco.

In addition to her parents Joyce was preceded in death by two brothers Walter and Nicholas Snyder.

Joyce was a baker for many years at Big Bear. She enjoyed dancing and was a member of the Moose Lodge 1626, VFW Post 108, American Legion Post 62 and the Shriners Club all of Chillicothe.

In keeping her wishes there will be no services held. Joyce will be put to rest in Londonderry Cemetery.
