Joyce Amyx

Joyce E. Cook Amyx, 86, of Greenfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday morning, October 30, 2022, at Edgewood Manor of Greenfield. She was born on Thursday, May 14, 1936 in Greenfield, the daughter of the late Richard N and Frances A Smith Cook.

She is survived by her daughter, Christian Amyx Riddle, two sons: Justin Clay Amyx and Ronald Dale Amyx, nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, two sisters: Nancy (Don) Porter and Carol Wobser. Also surviving are four nieces and six nephews. Joyce was preceded in death by one daughter, Susan Wise Amyx and one son, Daniel Lee Amyx.

Joyce lived most of her life in Greenfield. She was a graduate of the Edward Lee McClain High School in 1954. She was president of her senior class and always enjoyed putting together her class reunions with her classmates. Joyce was a big fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Joyce will be cremated and no services will be held. The ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield is serving the family.
