Joseph Edward Ford

Joseph E. Ford 81 of Chillicothe passed from this life Monday, August 20, 2018 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. He was born April 3, 1937 in Roxabell the son of the late Ralph E. and Clara Bayless Ford. On October 12, 1950 he married the former Donna P. Davis who passed away January 7, 2004.

He is survived by his children, Chris (Tiffany) Ford and Kelly (Chico) Warfield; grandchildren, Sade`, Unique (Butch), Tre`, Zoe, Brooklyn, CJ, and Barry; great grandchildren, Marshall and Rilee all of Chillicothe; sisters, Helen (George) Beard of Chillicothe and Sue (Randy) Parker of Whitehall; brother, Gene (Doris) Ford of Chillicothe and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife Joe was preceded in death by a daughter Kelly Ann.
 
Joe was an Army veteran, and he retired from Kenworth after nearly 30 yrs. He also worked as a Reserve Deputy for the Ross County Sherriff’s office for 50 yrs. Joe was an avid Buckeye fan and he enjoyed fishing and playing bingo at Signature Health. But most of all Joe loved spending time with his family.
 
Funeral services will be held 1 pm Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge with Pastor Mike Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may visit with Joe’s family from 11 am until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
