Johnathen Everett Rager

Johnathen E. Rager, 49 of Clarksburg, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2026, in Grant Medical Center, Columbus following an extended illness. He was born in Chillicothe on Friday, February 25, 1977, a son of the former Veneta M. Rosenberger Lindsey and Byron B. Lindsey.

He is survived by one son; Johnathen B. (Kennedy) Rager of Jackson, one grandson; Kingston Rager two step grandchildren; Karter and Kamry, two sisters; Chasidy (Randy) Cook of Washington CH and Bonnie (Rick) Williams of Clarksburg, one half-sister; Kaitlin (Brian) Mays of Clarksburg, one brother; Jim (Michele) Lindsey of New Holland and several nieces and nephews. Johnathen was preceded in death by his father; Byron Lindsey.

Johnathen was a graduate of Adena High School and Pickaway-Ross Vocational School. He loved to listen to country western music and enjoyed every singer. Johnathen was also an avid Karaoke singer as well.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2026, in the Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort with Brent Curtis officiating. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in the Brown's Chapel Cemetery, Clarksburg. Calling hours for family and friends will be held on Monday from noon until the time of the funeral service.
