John David Leedom

John David Leedom, 53, of Bainbridge, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He was born June 20, 1973, in Ross County to Charles and Janice (Yoakum) Leedom.

He is survived by his mother Janice; sisters Barbara Stauffer and Jana Leedom; sister-in-law Retta Leedom; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and his dog Rambo.

John was preceded in death by his father Charles; brother Charles Robert “Bobby”; paternal grandparents Claude & Ethel Leedom, maternal grandparents Dwight & Lucile Yoakum and niece Heather Stauffer.

John liked to Travel, to color, watch wrestling, Star Wars, and Ohio State football. He was a member of the Happy Squares-square dancing and People First of Ohio. He also was a past member of 4H.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME of Bainbridge. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may visit with Johnny’s family from 5-7 pm Monday at the funeral home.
