Jason Lloyd Free

Jason L. Free, 31, of Frankfort, died unexpectedly on Tuesday evening, September 21, 2010. He was born on March 20, 1979 in Chillicothe, the son of Lloyd Free and Angie Hice.



He is survived by his parents, Lloyd (Brenda) Free of Frankfort, Angie (Kevin L.) Kempton of Stoutsville, daughter; Judith Darlene Free, brothers and sisters; Christie Free of Royalton, Brandon Newsome of Chillicothe, Karry McWhorter of Bainbridge, Jamie Newsome of Columbus, Josh Kempton of Stoutsville, step-brothers; Dylan Free of Ft. Lee Virginia, Cale Free of Frankfort, Jeremy Mallow of Chillicothe, maternal grandmother; Lucielle Hice of Chillicothe, grandmother; Esther Kempton of Stoutsville, close friend; Matthew Marshall of Stoutsville. Jason was loved by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Jake and Patty Free, and maternal grandfather; Jim Hice.



Jason was a 1997 graduate of Amanda Clearcreek High School and was a member of the Honor Society. He graduated from the Eastland Career Center in 1997, having majored in Ag Diesel Mechanics. He worked for John Deere, Lancaster for 7 years. He also worked for Kenworth, Chillicothe and Dupont, Circleville in Logistics. Jason loved to work with animals. He enjoyed hunting, being outdoors, and anything green and yellow.



Funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, September 25, 2010 in the Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort. Burial will follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Stoutsville with Pastor Ted Davis officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 5 to 8pm.
