Janet L. Watson

Janet L. Watson, 78, of Greenfield, died at 1:55p.m. on Friday, April 7, 2017 at her home. She was born on November 4, 1938 in Bainbridge, the daughter of the late Arthur and Anna Blanche Sharon Knisley. On December 13, 1980 she married Gordon S. Watson who preceded her in death on July 11, 2015.

She is survived by three daughters; Lisa (Tim) Baxter of Chillicothe, Teresa (Rex) Leeth  and Mindy (Ronnie) Brown all of New Martinsburg, one son; Mike (Vicky) Hodge of Peebles, Ohio, two step daughters; Diana Watson and Terri Parsons; three step sons; David, Garry and Dana Watson all of Dayton, thirteen grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren, one sister; Rita (Jim) Putney of New Martinsburg, two brothers; Rex Knisley of Frankfort and Gary Knisley of Greenfield and a special friend of over 60 years; Wanda Austin of Bainbridge. Janet is preceded in death by three brothers; Donald, Roger and Ronnie Knisley.

Janet’s family wants to extend a sincere thank you for all the loving and dedicated care that she received from all the staff at Fayette County Hospice.

A funeral service will held at 1:00p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 in the ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield with Jeff Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 11a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
