Jane Hatmacher

Jane Hatmacher, 88, of Frankfort, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. She was born on Monday, May 15, 1933, in Ross County, the daughter of the late Lemuel and Lula Ater Sims. On January 27, 1959 she married Lee A. “Hat” Hatmacher, Sr. He preceded her in death on April 26, 1997.

She is survived by one daughter, Wanda (Ernie) Cremeans of Clarksburg, one son, Lee A (Randi) Hatmacher, Jr., of Chillicothe, one daughter-in-law, Karen Thompson of Frankfort, ten grandchildren; Ernie Lee Cremeans, Krystal Cremeans, Breanna Cremeans, Amy Cox, Joni Collins, Sarah Williams, Gene Thompson, Jack Thompson, Joe Evans and Jennifer Evans, twenty one great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren, one sister; Ruby (Gilbert) Sparkman of Washington C.H. and several nieces and nephews. Jane was preceded in death by one son, Gene Thompson, two grandchildren, Ashley Hatmacher and Stephen Thompson, five brothers and three sisters.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021, at 1 p.m. in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort. Following the service, Jane will be laid to rest beside her husband, Lee, in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Family and friends may visit with Jane’s family at the funeral home on Monday from 11 a.m. to the time of the service.
