James Todd Simmons, 45, of Chillicothe, passed away Thursday morning, July 20, 2023, at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. He was born on Tuesday, August 23, 1977, in Athens OH, a son of the late James Lee and Pamela Sue Walters Simmons.
Todd is survived by one brother, Gary Lee Simmons of Frankfort, cousins, Sheri (Spencer) Cochenour of Frankfort, Terri (David) Dowler of Frankfort, Adam Dowler of Chillicothe, Tommy Dowler of Frankfort, and an aunt, Phyllis Caplinger of Chillicothe. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lee Simmons, and Dorothy (Bob) Anderson, maternal grandparents, Phillip (Eunice) Walters, aunt and uncle, Bill and Carol Thompson, and cousins, Scott Caplinger and Kathy Caplinger Lemaster.
Todd was a graduate of Buchholz High School, Gainsville, FL.
In keeping with his wishes cremation will take place and no services will be held.
