James Hamlin

James “Superman” Hamlin, Jr. 68 of Chillicothe passed from this life Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. He was born September 13, 1952 in Knockemstiff the son of the late JB and Helen L. (McCommis) Hamlin.

He is survived by his wife Karen A. (Vandal) Hamlin; his children Carla (Dave) Long, Angela (Jeremy) Herman, James “Little Guy” Hamlin, Madison and Arya Hamlin and Destiny Hamlin (Joseph Rinehart, Jr.); 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters Geryl Johnson, Nathan (Emma Campbell) Hamlin, Marcus (Twanna Taylor) Hamlin, Linda (Hector) Sanchez, Rita Hamlin, Marvin (Cindy Jones) Hamlin; father-in-law Robert W. Ford and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Larry Hamlin.

Jim was a blessed man on this earth to have been loved by all of you beautiful and wonderful family and friends. He has went to the only place better than being with us.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
