Ira E. Corley, 78, of Chillicothe, died at 2:08 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011 at Valley View Care Center, Frankfort . He was born on Aug. 30, 1932 in Paris, AR the son of the late Herbert and Margaret Jones Corley.
He is survived by a son; Jimmy (Michele) Corley of Chillicothe, three grandchildren; Jimmy W., Joshua Allen and Leslie Corley. He was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
Ira was a US Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 18, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. at Grandview Cemetery, Chillicothe with Rev. Steven Schmidt officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard. Calling hours will not be held.
