Helen Tyler

Helen J. Tyler, 75, of Chillicothe, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023, at 4:59 p.m. in the Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. She was born on Sunday, September 21, 1947, in Ross County, a daughter of the late Glen and Bessie Harris Wright. She was preceded in death by her husband, George T. Tyler, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Jones of Reynoldsburg, one sister, Beverly Scott of Chillicothe and many nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by one sister, Shirly Brown and five brothers, Freddie E. Wright, Edward Leon Wright, Melvin Douglas Wright, James William Wright and Richard Harris.

Helen was a 1968 graduate of Adena High School. Helen worked as a Nursing Assistant at Westmoreland Place. Her dedicated service spanned over three decades, during which she provided compassionate care to countless patients. She loved having dinner with her family and friends. Helen also enjoyed watching football and was always found cheering on the Cincinnati Bengals. Helen's sweet spirit and loving touch will always be remembered by those who experienced it. She will be missed dearly by all.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2023, in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Rev. Eric Carson officiating. Following the funeral service, Helen will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral.
