Helen L. Paul, 93, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017 peacefully at her residence with family surrounding her.  She was born on October 11, 1924 in Harrison Co., Cynthiana, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Grover and Hazel Wagoner. On March 19, 1946 she married Kenneth “Buck” Paul who preceded her in death on March 11, 1985.

She is survived by one daughter; Carolyn Bell of Greenfield, one grandson; Bill (Melissa) Bell of Greenfield, one great-granddaughter; Maddie Bell, one sister; Pauline Chaney of Richmond, IN, two brothers; Ed and Bill Wagoner both of Bainbridge, several nieces and nephews, special friend; Janet Pinkerton, numerous friends and neighbors and her dearly loved pets. Helen is preceded in death by one sister; Ruby Clouser and two brothers; Harold C. and Stanley P. Wagoner.

Helen was a 1943 graduate of Buckskin High School. She retired from The Edward Lee McCLain High School after 25 years of service. She was a loving and devoted mother, homemaker, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an animal lover and devoted gardener.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 18, 2017 in the ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield with Pastor Bill Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery. Friends may visit with Helen’s family on Friday from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.m. at the funeral home.
