Hazel Marie Schuer

Hazel M. Schuer, 73, of Frankfort, died at 4:15pm on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at her home. She was born on November 15, 1936 in Austin OH, the daughter of the late Harold T. and Mary L. Sellers Thacker.



Surviving are her children; Mary Ann (Philip) Murfitt Anthony "Tony" (Cheryl) Schuer, all of Frankfort, grandchildren; Rochelle M. Robinson, Gabrielle A. Schuer, Emily G. Schuer, sisters; Rose Mary (Dave) Kruger of Beavercreek, Jackie Wolford of Frankfort, sister-in-law; Elaine Thacker of Fairborn, brothers; Phillip A. (Claudia) Thacker of Chillicothe, Paul F. (Valerie) Thacker of Marysville OH, James M. (Mag) Thacker of Dayton, John A. Thacker of Sacramento CA and her favorite feline friend; Happy Cat. She was preceded in death by one brother; Harold F. Thacker.



Hazel was a 1954 graduate of Frankfort High School and had worked as a floor supervisor at Budd Plant.. She was a member of the Frankfort United Methodist Church, Chillicothe Eagles Aerie 600, Chillicothe AmVets Post 7, and the Chillicothe American Legion Post 62. She was an avid golfer, and bowler, and enjoyed going to Las Vegas and Myrtle Beach. She loved spending time with her family.



In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place. Family and friends are asked to gather at Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort, at 1pm on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 for a graveside memorial service with Pastor Neil Foster officiating. No calling hours will be observed. The family kindly requests that flowers be omitted and that memorial contributions be made to Concord Township EMS, PO Box 616, Frankfort OH 45628.
