Hazel Jean Brown

Hazel Jean Brown 85 of Bainbridge died 11:25 pm Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Greenfield Area Medical Center. She was born July 26, 1925 in Ross County the daughter of the late Richard and Margaret Cross Cherryholmes. On November 5, 1945 she married George Brown who died September 15, 1996.

She is survived by her children, George Brown, Jr. of Hillsboro, Stephen (Sandy) Brown, Janice Brown, Roger (Connie) Brown, Bill Brown, Christy Brown and Melinda (Christopher) Seitz all of Bainbridge; 13 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mildred Daugherty of Greenfield and JanaBell Davis of Waverly; sister-in-law, Beatrice Brown of Fruitdale and brother-in-law, Herbert Brown of Hillsboro.

In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth Munyon.



Funeral services will be held 1pm Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT funeral home, Bainbridge. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
