Harold Gene McGlone

Harold Gene McGlone 86 of Peebles, Ohio went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 17, 2023. He was born June 22, 1937 in Carter County, Kentucky the son of the late Charles and Judia McGlone. Also preceding him in death, his wife of 35 years Rose; a daughter Rose; stepdaughter Sandy Sharfenaker; and sisters Geneva Whitley and Darlene Evans.

He is survived by his children Tim (Connie) McGlone of Bellefontaine, Genea Lynn Stayroke (Kent Smith) of Washington CH, Anthony (Sandy) McGlone of Chillicothe, and Greg (Jana) McGlone of Greenfield; stepson Michael (Millanaca) Whitley of Bainbridge; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister Florene Trent of Peebles and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gene enjoyed working on the farm and he retired from Ferno Washington in Wilmington after 35 years.

Funeral services will be held 1 pm Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at the Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home, Bainbridge. Gene will be laid to rest in Cynthiana Cemetery. Friends may visit with Gene's family from 11 am until the time of service.
