Gracie Marie Daugherty

Gracie Marie Daugherty 93, of Bainbridge passed from this life Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Greenfield Skilled Nursing. She was born April 22, 1926 in Morgantown, Mississippi the daughter of the late William Appleton and Lettie Louhelen (Morgan) Garner.

Gracie is survived by her children Ruth Cowman, Linda Lowman and William “Pete” Kelley, whom she raised; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; special daughter-in-law, Cathy Daugherty and her good friend, Charlene Walley.
 
She was preceded in death by son, Calvin W. “Bunk” Daugherty; sisters, Alma Case and Bessie Buchanan; brother, Bud Garner and son-in-law, Rusty Cowman.
 
Gracie helped many kids through years and she never met a stranger. She also enjoyed Bingo and sitting on her porch.
 
     Funeral services will be held 1 pm Monday, November 11, 2019 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Steve Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 11 am until the time of service at the funeral home on Monday.
