Glen Edward Spangler

Glen Edward Sangler, 79, of Frankfort, died at 10:20 m Friday February 18, 2011 at VA Medical Center, Chillicothe.

He was born January 15, 1932 in Ross County, the son of the late Edward Ray and Violet Virginia Miller Sangler.



On May 28, 1952 he married the former Madeline Mick who survives. Also surviving are four children, Glenn (Sherry) Sangler Jr. of Chillicothe, Cherri (Mike) Hutchinson of Hillsboro, Gary (Julie) Sangler of Bainbridge, and Jeff (Beth) Sangler of Frankfort; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; one sister Jaunaita Hanson, four brothers, Floyd, Gale, Douglas, and William Sangler; secial friends Missy and Hayley Potter.



He was redeceased by a great-granddaughter, Sohiah Mathis.



Glen was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member and Past Master of the Bainbridge Lodge #196 of the Free and Acceted Masons. He loved everything to do with the Lodge.



He was a member of the Frankfort Church of Christ and enjoyed fishing and hunting.



Funeral services will be held 1:00 m Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at the Bainbridge Church of Christ with Steve Alexander and Harold Rutledge officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery with Military Service accorded by the AMVETS of Circleville. Friends may call from 5 to 8 m Tuesday at the Bainbridge Church of Christ, a Masonic Service will be held at 7:30 m.
