Gladys I. Oren 89, of Bainbridge went to be with the Lord 1:11 pm Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Greenfield Area Medical Center. She was born February 8, 1922 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Herman Krauss.
In April of 1946 she married William H. Oren who passed from this life in February of 2002.
She is survived by her daughter, LouAnn McGlone of Bainbridge; three grandsons, one granddaughter and nine great grandchildren; a sister, Eleanor Hangen of Kettering and a special friend, Betty Lambert of Bainbridge.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Joyce Elaine Oren and nine brothers and sisters.
Gladys attended the McKibben Chapel and she loved birds, music, reading and working her puzzles.
Funeral services will be held 12 pm Noon on Wednesday Feb. 23, 2011 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Rev. Mike Whitley officiating. Burial will follow in the Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville. Friends may call from 10 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
