George F. Williams, 75, of Morrow, formerly of Frankfort, died on Friday, July 3, 2026, at Trihealth Clinton Regional Hospital, Wilmington. He was born on September 10, 1950, in Chillicothe, a son of the late James Wesley and Wanda June Wood Williams, Sr.. On May 7, 1982, he married the former Rhonda Sue Moody, and she preceded him in death on July 1, 2022.
He is survived by their two children; Jillian (Josh) Bluck of Clarksburg, and Jacob (Kari) Williams of Morrow, three grandchildren; Lorelei, Sawyer, and Gavin, and one brother; James Williams, Jr.. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; Rhonda Williams, one sister; Rosemary Williams Crowe, and one brother; Rocky Lee Williams.
George was a graduate of Adena High School. He served his country during Vietnam in the United States Navy. He worked as a diesel mechanic for Tempo Trucking and most recently Walmart Distribution in Grove City. He was a member of American Legion Post 0194. He enjoyed fishing, tossing horseshoes, and collecting and sharpening knives. He insisted the only way to sharpen a knife properly was with a whetstone.
A funeral service for George will be held on Wednesday morning, July 8, 2026, at 11 a.m. in the Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort with Pastor Dan Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort, where he will be buried next to his wife, Rhonda. Family and friends may visit with George's family on Tuesday evening, July 7, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m.. Those who wish to share a memory of George may do so by signing his online register.
