George Dean Dreher

George Dean Dreher 84 of Bainbridge went to be with the Lord 12:10 am Saturday, April 4, 2020 from OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus. He was born June 7, 1935 the son of the late George and Mammie Dreher. On November 7, 1995 he married the former Okie Culwell, who survives.

He is also survive by his children, Charlie (Laura) Dreher, Neoma (Tony) Gregory and Gene (Carrol) Dreher; step children, James (Angie) Morrison, Melina (Greg) Rodabaugh, Tammy (Steve) Cross and Holly (Brian) Hall;  numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Dean was preceded in death by his son, Mike; a great grandson; 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Dean was a Navy Seal during the Korean and Vietnam wars. He retired from the military after 23 plus years of service. He also drove a truck and worked for the Paint Creek State Park. Dean was a member of Pine Top Church where he served as a trustee and had served in the past as Sunday School Teacher.

Due to the pandemic Private services will be held at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Rev. Hurley Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. No calling hours will be observed.
