Floyd E. "Rick" Hamilton

Floyd E. “Rick” Hamilton 68 of Bainbridge went to be with the Lord Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. He was born Wednesday, January 1, 1958, in Chillicothe to the late Charlie and Etherine (Cole) Hamilton. On November 18, 1994, he married the former Audrey A. Eiring, who survives.

He is also survived by his daughter Meomie “Mimi” Hamilton and stepdaughter Heather Hefner both of AZ; sisters Pauline Skaggs of New Straistville, Darlene (Ezra) Burton of KY and Maxine (John) Burdett of Bainbridge; brothers Hurley (Rita) Hamilton of Bainbridge, Willis (Stella) Hamilton of Waverly, Cliff (Diane) Hamilton of Bainbridge, Ralph (Molly) Hamilton of Leesburg, Don Hamilton of Chillicothe, Lee Hamilton of Bainbridge, Guy (Anne) of Chillicothe, Larry (Karen) Hamilton of New Straitsville and Rex (Dolly) Hamilton of Canton; sister- in-law Sandra Hamilton of Grove City; numerous nieces, nephew and friends including his good friend Boe Tackett.

In addition to his parents Rick was preceded in death by his sister Lorine Williams and brother Shelby Gene Hamilton.

Rick attended Sandy Chapel and he was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed picking the guitar, singing, working on cars, and tinkering with many different things.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Rev. Delbert “Boe” Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bainbridge. Friends may call from 12 pm until 2 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made to the Funeral Home to help the family with the funeral expenses.
