Evelyn Lucille Lane

Evelyn L. Lane, 92, Frankfort, died on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at her home. She was born on May 28, 1919 in Lattaville, the daughter of the late James William and S. Darlene Penisten Smith. On July 22, 1935 she married Kenneth C. Lane who preceded her in death on April 11, 1973.



She is survived by her son; William K. (Janis) Lane, daughter; Jean (Dan) Winters all of Frankfort, grandchildren; Elizabeth Scott, Ken Lane, Bruce Lane, Teresa Brown, Lynne Seymour, Lisa Taylor, Jon Winters, step-grandchildren; Jaqui Patterson, Jonathan Starn, 21 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, friends; Virginia Porter, Ethel Sallows, former daughters-in-law; Jean Lane, Kathy Mees and her beloved dog; Molly. She was preceded in death by one son; Larry L. Lane, one grandson; David Lane, two great-grandsons; Brian Lane and Joseph Brown Jr.



Evelyn attended the Lattaville United Methodist Church. She raised sheep for a lot of Ross County 4-H kids, including her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.



Funeral service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, June 4, 2011, in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Bob Rose officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort.
