Ethel M Posey

Ethel M. Posey 73, formerly of Bainbridge went to be with the Lord 11:20 pm Friday, May 11, 2018. She was born June 1, 1944 in Olive Hill, KY the daughter of the late Martin VanBuren and Maude “Wahletta” Hale Waulk.

Ethel is survived by her children Jimmy Potts, Eugene (Cindy) Potts and Dale (Polly) Woods; grandchildren Miranda, Matt, Josh, Kendall and Bryson; great grandchildren Kydan, Zoey, Talon, Jeorjia, Jace and Lydia; sisters Blanche Cox and Mary Lou Patmore; brother Jack Waulk and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her twin brother Jimmy Waulk and brother Van Waulk.

Ethel loved her family especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed being outside gardening and feeding the birds. She shared the Gospel by reading the Bible to other nursing home residents.

Funeral services will be held 1 pm Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Pastor Matt Brookes officiating. Burial will follow in the Rhoads Cemetery. Friends may visit with Ethel’s family from 11 am until the time of service on Tuesday.
