Ernest G. Foster

Ernest G. Foster, 87, of Frankfort, died on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, in the Edgewood Manor of Greenfield. He was born Saturday, April 8, 1939, at Frankfort, a son of the late Frank S. and Elizabeth A Jenkins Foster.

He is survived by one brother; Frank Foster of Florissant, Colorado, one sister-in-law; Mary Foster of Washington C.H. He was preceded in death by four sisters; Marie Althouse, Cleo Mason, Viola Cast and Rosalee Borrell and one brother; Charles Foster.

Ernest was a 1958 graduate of Frankfort High School. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served Honorably in the United States Army. He then worked as a telegraph operator for the B&O Railroad. Ernie was a member of the former New Bethel United Methodist Church where he was baptized in 1968.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2026, in the Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. A visitation for family and friends will be held beginning at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
