Ellen Mae Tong

Ellen Mae Hatfield Tong 91 of Bainbridge died 3 am Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Hearth and Care of Greenfield. She was born February 17, 1926 to the late Loren and Bertha Newkirk Hatfield.
 
She is survived by her children, Sue Norris, Wanda (Larry) Boydston, Jack Cyrus, Joe Bill (Melody) Cross and Steven (Sharon) Cross all of Bainbridge; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
 
Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Darrel Tong; son, Jerry Cross; two brothers and a son-in-law, Fred Norris
 
She retired from Sugar Creek Packing and she also had worked at the Shoe Factory in Greenfield. Mae liked quilting and watching tv.
 
Funeral services will be held 2 pm Sunday, November 12, 2017 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Rev. Chuck Elliott officiating. Burial will follow in the Cynthiana Cemetery. Friends may visit with Mae's family from Noon until the time of service.
