Eleanor M. Copley

Eleanor M. Copley, 83, of Frankfort, died at 12:11 am on Saturday June 6, 2026, surrounded by her family at her home. She was born Sunday, November 15, 1942, in Ross County, a daughter of the late Ernest and Blanche L. McCoy Herman. On Christmas Day, 2000, she married Floyd F. Copley who preceded her in death on March 20, 2019.

She is survived by three daughters; Angie (Rob) Ackley and Emma Leasure all of Frankfort, Lori (Joel) Archambeault of California, one son; Marvin (Ruby) Jenkins of Florida, twelve grandchildren and several great grandchildren, one sister; Rhonda L. Armstrong of Frankfort, two brothers; Elmer Herman and Herald R. (Tammy) Herman all of Chillicothe. Eleanor is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Her best friend and canine buddy, Sophie, is also left to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by two sons; Garld and Perry Jenkins, one granddaughter; Bobbi Sue Morrison and four sisters; Becky Steiner, Billie Stauffer, Nancy Conley and Sue Fraley.

Eleanor was a strong and determined woman who never let the effects of childhood polio keep her from accomplishing what she was determined to do. She loved the races and attended every race she could at Raceway 35. She and her husband, Floyd, always enjoyed a good auction and the time they spent camping.

A special Thank You is extended by her family to Daylin Rinehart, her Hospice team from Heartland Hospice of Circleville and Heritage Home Health.

Family and friends will have a time of visitation on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 6 to 8 pm at the Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort. Eleanor will be cremated and will be laid to rest beside her husband and son in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort.
