Elaine Thacker

Elaine E. Thacker, 90, of Fairborn, died at 3:42 pm on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at her home. She was born on Wednesday, April 25, 1934, in Fargo, North Dakota, a daughter of the late Lester and Ella Hoirup Jacobson. Elaine married Harold F. Thacker on March 19, 1955 and he preceded her in death on March 21, 1990.

She is survived by two daughters; Cynthia Slepicka of Fairborn and Nichole Thomas of Dayton, Cyndi's children; Erica Oller and Isaiah Slepicka, Nichole's son; Trent (Desiray) Thomas and eight great-grandchildren, one brother; Norman Jacobson of Missoula, Montana and one brother-in-law; Ronald Hulme of Kalispell, Montana; her lifelong best friend, Rita White of Kalispell, Montana and all living relatives of the Jacobson and Thacker families.

Elaine was a graduate of Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing in Spokane Washington. She dedicated her life as a Registered Nurse and a loving wife and mother.

In keeping with Elaine's wishes, cremation will take place. She will be laid to rest beside her husband, Harold, in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. The service will be held at the convenience of the family. The Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort is serving the family.
