Edna Ruth Kinzer

Edna Ruth Kinzer, 84 formerly of Bainbridge past from this life Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Embassy of Valley View, Frankfort. She was born Sunday, December 29, 1940, in Ross County the daughter of the late John and Ruby (Peirce) Minney. In 1981 She married Harold D. “Pete” Kinzer, who died May 10, 2020.

She is survived by one daughter Cheryl Saunders; three sons Robin Dennewitz, Mark Dennewitz (Becky) and Tony Dennewitz; two stepchildren Rick Kinzer and Brenda VanGundy; four grandchildren Joshua (Carrie) Barlage, Chad (Jeniffer) Dennewitz, Briana Osborne (Scott) and Brandon (Bethany) Dennewitz; six great grandchildren Trent Lyons, Hannah, Henry and Holly Dennewitz and Sam and Charlie Barlage; two sisters Mary Jo (Steve) Mclain and Telytha “Tice” Rumfield; three brothers Larry (Rosemary), John William (Terry), and Harvey “Hob” Minney; brother-in-law John Lilley; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband Edna was preceded in death by a son Greg “Baker” Dennewitz; sister Lindy “Peach” Lilley; daughter-in-law Phyllis Dennewitz and son-in-law Paul Saunders.

Edna loved gardening, painting, sewing, cooking and baking. She was a member of the Bainbridge Senior Citizens, and she attended the Bainbridge Church of Christ.

Funeral services will be 1 pm Saturday, July 5, 2025, at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge with John Aber officiating. Following the services Edna will be laid to rest beside her husband Pete in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 am until 1 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
