Diana T. Merritt

Diana T. Merritt, 70, of Greenfield, died at 1:20 p.m. on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at her home. She was born on July 23, 1946 in Greenfield, the daughter of the late Dale and Martha Hawkins Johnson.

Diana is survived by three grandchildren; Andrew Dale Johnson, Marcie Johnson and Thomas D. Carter, several great-grandchildren, one sister; Joy Smith of Leesburg and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by one son; Gregory D. “Chip” Johnson, daughter-in-law-; Lisa Johnson, three sisters; Judy Frampton, Margaret Maag and Sally Scheeler.

Diana was a graduate of the Edward Lee McClain High School and worked as a License Practical Nurse at Greenfield Manor.

Friends and may visit with Diana’s family on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at the ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield. In keeping with her wishes cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the funeral home to help with expenses.
