Debra Jo Davis

Debra Jo Davis 65 of Bainbridge passed peacefully 1:21 am Saturday, July 9, 2016 at her home surrounded by love and laughter, while listening to her beloved Rolling Stones. She was born March 4, 1951 in Ross County the daughter of the late Floyd and Betty Jo (Day) Dunn. On March 5, 1971 she married Neil E. Davis, who survives.

Also surviving are 2 children, Mary Jo (Edward) Basham of Chillicothe and Jay Dee (Kimberly) Davis of Bainbridge; 2 grandchildren, Faith and Noah Davis; 3 brothers, Jack and Rick Dunn and Gary Day all of Frankfort. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Blenn "Ben" Dunn.

Debra retired from Veteran Affairs in Chillicothe after 30 years of service and she attended Brookside Church. She loved flea marketing and antiquing. She took great joy in cooking for her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a beloved wife, loving mother and grandmother.

Funeral services will be held 1pm Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge, with Pastor Dan Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may visit with Debra's family from 5-8 pm Monday at the funeral home.
