David Patrick Staley

David P. Staley, 68, of Circleville, died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He was born on Tuesday, November 19, 1957, in Columbus, a son of the late Rodney and Nancy Sprouse Staley. David married the former Christina Thompson on December 17, 1977.

He is survived by his wife, Chris, four children; Casey (Kasey) Staley of Minford, Trish Staley of Circleville, Carrie (Mike) Staley of Columbus and Austin Kinney of Chillicothe, 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, four sisters; Becky Hamilton of Kimbolton, OH, Debbie Rhodes, Cindy Nelson and Nancy Staley all of Columbus, one brother; Rick Staley of Columbus, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. David was preceded in death by one granddaughter; Isannah Luster and her baby, 1 sister; Pam Staley and 2 brothers; Mike and Kevin Staley.

David was a truck driver and retired from Monesi Trucking. David loved to spend time fishing, and he was always tinkering with something

Family and friends may visit with David's family at the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort on Saturday, July 18, 2026 beginning at 11 a.m. and will conclude with a brief service at 1 p.m. David will be laid to rest in Springbank Cemetery on Saturday. T
