David Scott "Dawson" Dawson

David Scott Dawson (known as Dawson to many friends), 29, of Lancaster, formerly of Clarksburg, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012, surrounded by his family at OSU Hospital, Wexner Center, Columbus Ohio. David was born on May 21, 1983 in Ross County. He is survived by his parents Harold "Ed" and Pamela Clarke Dawson, of Clarksburg

Also surviving are his daughter Arianna Sue Dawson and her mother Stephanie Neaves of Dayton, brother Scott Dawson of Clarksburg, maternal grandparents Charles and Sue (Prince) Clarke of Clarksburg, aunts Eileen (Ralph Divito) McKinnon of Columbus, Sharon (Lawrence) Wills of Chillicothe, uncle Charles (Mary) Clarke II, cousins Tara (Charles) Legar of Athens, Dr. Laura Wills of Chillicothe, Chrissy (Brian) Morgan of Thornville, Ryan Clarke of Frankfort, Steve and Rose Martin, Phyllis (John) Newman. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Harold and Zilpha (Stevenson) Dawson and cousin Michael McKinnon.

David graduated in 2001 from Adena High School. He loved watching his OSU Buckeyes in football and basketball.

The doctors, nurses, and staff of the Surgical ICU of OSU Hospital along with a host of friends and family gave excellent care and support to David and his family. David's generous spirit lives on through organ/tissue donation.

In keeping with the family's wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, Chillicothe. Burial of the cremains will be held at the convenience of the family. The EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort is serving the family.
