Dale E, Mark, 77, of Bainbridge, died at 11 pm on Tuesday July 9, 2019 at the Maple View Manor, Bainbridge. Dale was born December 7, 1941 in Ross County, a son of the late George H., Jr. and Blanche Ward Mark. On June 22, 1963 he married the former Mary Ellen Schmidt and she survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Rick (Jennifer) Mark of Frankfort, Steve (Mandy) Mark of Bainbridge, five grandchildren, Brianna Mark, Coral, Ashton Cruz, Bella Mark and Emily Evans, three brothers, Robert (Virginia) Mark of Bainbridge, Tommy Mark of Frankfort and Bill (Donna) Mark of Chillicothe.  Dale is preceded in death by five sisters, Jean Hertenstein, Julia Ann Tillis, Jane Mark, Donna Kellough and Clara Byers, three brothers, Buddy, Ronnie and Sam Mark.

Dale was a1960 graduate of Paint Valley High School. He was a farmer. He had served as a Paxton Township Trustee, served on the Board of the Ross County Agricultural Society, was a member of the Bainbridge Camera Club and the Ross County Farmer’s Club.

A graveside funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at the Bainbridge Cemetery with Rev. Glenn Newland officiating. Friends and relatives may visit with Dale’s family on Friday from 5 to 8 pm at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Fall Festival of Leaves, PO Box 571, Bainbridge, OH 45612.
