Clyde Kenneth Hill

Clyde Kenneth Hill, 85, of Frankfort, died unexpectedly Friday morning, July 16, 2010 at his home. He was born on April 25, 1925 in Chester, Ohio, the son of the late John L. and Janie Deem Hill. On Jan. 6, 1946 he married Louise B. Barnhart who survives.



Also surviving are two sons; Michael (Linda) Hill of Frankfort, Larry Hill of Cleveland, six grandchildren; Joe (Hayley) Hill, Andy (Lisa) Hill, Mara Hill, Adam (Theresa) Hill, Lauren (Randy) Mullins, Ashley (Kelvin) Foster, thirteen great grandchildren, one sister; Beatrice Hyer of Washington C.H., one sister-in-law; Mary Ellen Hill of Frankfort and several special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Harry and Robert L. Hill.



Kenneth was a 1943 graduate of Frankfort High School. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps in both World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was co-owner and founder of Lake Hill in Frankfort. Kenneth worked for a number of years as a lineman for South Central Power and he was retired from the Budd Co.



Kenny loved his family and enjoyed his great grandchildren. He had a passion for auctions and enjoyed them with his son and grandsons. He was a member of the Joseph Ellsworth White Post 483 - American Legion, was a fifty year member of Frankfort Masonic Lodge 309 and the Scottish Rite Valley of Columbus. He was also a member of the Ross County Shrine Club.



Funeral service will be on Monday, July 19, 2010 at 11am in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Danny Dodds officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort with military honors accorded by the Frankfort American Legion. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home where Masonic services will be held at 7:30 p.m.
