Charles Michael Martin

Charles Michael Martin 74 of Bainbridge died 2:23 am Saturday, July 18, 2026, at his home. He was born Saturday, September 29, 1951, in Pike County, OH to the late James Arthur and Patricia Gail (Cameron) Martin. On Wednesday, May 14, 1986, he married the former Connie Gail Dowden, who preceded him in death early this year on April 9, 2026.

He is survived by sons Anthony Jay Kidd his fiancé Melissa Elkins and James Aaron Kidd his wife Cynthia; 10 grandchildren Anthony Jay (Jr) his wife Ashley Anne, Jacob, Gavin, Skylie, Michael, Mason, Marcus, Mikayla, David James and Chloe Louise; one great grandchild Phoenix Winter-Anne; sisters Becky Persinger, Jennifer Read and Toni Angle; a host of nieces and nephews and his four legged friends Maverick and Asha.

In addition to his parents and wife, Mike was preceded in death by two bothers James Patrick and Christopher Cameron Martin.

Mike served in the Marine Corp and was a veteran of Vietnam. He was a truck driver for many years, but he was really a jack of all trades. He enjoyed reading, science fiction, and he loved all sports. He was a gun enthusiast, and he was well versed in auto mechanics.

There will be no services. The SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge is serving the family.
