Carolyn Newland

Carolyn Newland, 82, of Greenfield, died on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at the Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. She was born on Friday, May 24, 1940, in Greenfield, the daughter of the late Delmas “Jake” and Ruthanna Wilson Easter.    

She is survived by her son, David Newland of Dayton.

Carolyn was a 1958 graduate of the Edward Lee McClain High School and was a member of the Greenfield First United Methodist Church.  She had worked at the Greenfield Daily Times, and the Wilknit Hosiery. Carolyn was a self-employed interior decorator with C&J Decorators for several years. Carolyn loved to bowl and was a member of the former Greenfield Bowling League.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield. Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Leesburg with Steve Wise officiating. Following the service, Carolyn will be laid to rest with her parents.
