Carolyn Sue Dreitzler

Carolyn Sue Dreitzler, 77, of Chillicothe, died on Sunday evening, June 8, 2025, at the Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. She was born on June 28, 1947, in Dayton, the daughter of the late Glen and Nina Ledbetter Freeman. On August 23, 1969, Sue married Charles R. "Bob" Dreitzler.

She is survived by her husband, Bob, three children; Charles Gregory "Greg" (Gail) Dreitzler of Athens, OH, Nena (David) Manhire of Colorado Springs, CO, and Sarah (Paul) Swensen of Chillicothe, six grandchildren; Mark and Christine Dreitzler, Dean and Ava Manhire, Joseph and Benjamin Swenson.

Sue was a graduate of Patterson Cooperative High School in Dayton. She was a graduate of the St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in Dayton. Sue retired from the Adena Regional Medical Center where she had worked as a Registered Nurse for several years. She was a longtime member of the First Church of Chillicothe.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 11a.m. at the First Church of Chillicothe with Euggle Robertson officiating. Following the funeral service, Sue will be laid to rest in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may visit with Sue's family at the church on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. The EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort is serving the family.
