Carol Ellene Roll

May 13, 1943 — Aug 21, 2026

Frankfort, Ohio

Carol Ellene Roll, a lifetime resident of Frankfort, Ohio, died on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. She was born on May 13, 1943, in Frankfort, to the late Homer and Ellene Dewey Storts. On September 1, 1961, Carol married Donald Lee Roll, and he survives. They were high school sweethearts, and he was the love of her life. They shared just shy of 65 years together. Their enduring love and commitment to one another was a beautiful example of a lifelong partnership and a love that grew stronger through the years.

Carol's greatest legacy is the family she loved so deeply. She is survived by her husband, Donald; their two daughters who she was incredibly proud of; Susan Pierce and Julie (Scott) Hoover; her grandchildren, TJ (Kelcie) Pierce; Carlee Pierce; Emma (Joe) Pelletier; and Grace Hoover; and her great-grandchildren, Zane, Liam, and Charlotte Pelletier, Phoebe Campbell, Jones and Saylor Pierce. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Ellene Storts, and one brother, Emmett.

She built a home filled with love, warmth, and encouragement, always teaching her daughters to pursue their dreams while making sure they always knew where home was. No milestone was ever too big or too small to celebrate. She was there for all of them, cheering her family on and making each accomplishment feel special. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was centered around the people she loved most.

Her family was her constant source of joy and the true center of her world. She devoted her life to creating and nurturing strong family bonds. She believed in the importance of gathering around the table, sharing meals, stories, laughter, and the simple moments that became treasured memories. Her home was a place where family could always come together, feel loved, and know they were home.

Carol will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her pride in the people they became, and the home she created—a place where everyone was welcomed, milestones were celebrated, and family always came first. Her love will continue through the generations she cherished and the family bonds she worked so hard to make strong.

A funeral service for Carol will be held at the convenience of her family, and she will be buried in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. No public hours will be held. The Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort, is serving the Roll family. Anyone wanting to share a memory of Carol may do so by signing her online register.
