Carol J. Baker, age 70, passed away at her home in Frankfort on December 30, 2018 following an extended illness. Carol was born in Leetonia, Ohio on February 12, 1948 to the late Dwight and Hazel Graham. Carol was one of ten children.

 

She is survived by her husband, David Baker, whom she married June 1, 1963.  The Bakers relocated to Frankfort in 1985.  Also surviving are her children; son, Brian Baker, and daughter, Jennifer Baker, and grandchildren; Melissa and Jacob Baker. Also surviving are brothers; Ronald (Janice) Graham, Larry Graham, and sisters; Patricia Stecker, Karen (Gary) DeSellem, Hazel (Ronald) Ross, and Cindy Kegelmeyer, along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in death by brothers, Donald and Gary, and a sister, Donna Hephner.

 

Carol was a faithful and passionate member of the Church of Christ, most recently attending the Cross Roads Church of Christ in Washington Court House. She worked in the banking business for several years prior to owning and operating the Heartland Gallery in Chillicothe where she sold artwork and did custom framing until her retirement.

 

Cremation will be handled by the Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort Ohio. There will be no calling hours or public funeral. A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date by Pastor Todd Maurer.

Carol would like to give a special thanks to the Adena Hospice staff for their outstanding care and loving care provided.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol’s name to the Adena Hospice at 2077 Western Ave., Chillicothe OH  45601. www.adena.org.
