Brian Allen Hurley

Brian Allen “Bo” Hurley 44 of Chillicothe unexpectedly passed from this life early Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born March 7, 1982, in Ross County to Kathy Hurley, who survives.

Bo is also survived by his dad Mark Detty; four children Jacob Theodore, Joseph Allen, Brylin and Sophia Hurley; three grandchildren Ella Jane, Koda Ragner and Parker Joseph Allen; sisters Kendra Dawn Brown and Christa Derrickson; the mother of his sons Nikki Ruiz; the mother of his daughters Kenlyn Brown; his best friends Jason “Chaububbe” Holton, Johnny Liebe, Bushy and Tony Wilson; along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Theodore and Nora Hurley; uncles Virgil Hurley, Mike Hurley and Ted Hurley; and aunt Julie Penrod,

Bo worked construction and he enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, mushroom hunting and especially riding motorcycles.

The family will receive friends from 3:30-5:30 pm Saturday, August 1, 2026, at SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge, with a brief service at 5:30 pm.
