Billy M. Dennis

Billy M. Dennis, 66, of Chillicothe, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, May 21, 2024, at the Pickering House Hospice, Lancaster. He was born on Sunday, June 16, 1957, in Pickaway County, a son of the late Donald "Bill" and Geraldine Mace Dennis. Billy married the former Betty J. Free on June 21, 1975.

He is survived by his wife, Betty, one son: Billy R. (Jennifer) Dennis of Ashville, OH, one daughter: Samantha (Scott) Brady of Williamsport, five grandchildren: Skylar (Caitlin), Kylee, Kyle, Jacob and Steven, three great grandchildren: Nolan, Audrey and Bentley, two sisters: Lynn (Bill) Rea of Rainsboro, Cindy Dennis and Ed of Clarksburg, one brother: Byron (Sandy) Dennis of Clarksburg. Billy is also survived by his beloved buddy, his dog, Frank.

Billy was a 1975 graduate of Westfall High School. He retired as a construction contractor with AKM Building Systems.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place. A graveside service will be held in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort at 11 am on Friday, May 31, 2024. Pastor Dan Bennett will officiate the service. Following the service, his urn will be buried in Greenlawn Cemetery. Billy and his family are so appreciative of the loving care he received at the Pickering House.
