Betty S. Turner, 91, of Greenfield, passed away at the family farm on a beautiful afternoon, Saturday, April 13, 2024. She was united with the two she loved, Her Lord, and the man she loved, her husband, Harry Turner. Betty was born in Greenfield on Saturday, October 24, 1931, a daughter of the late Harry E. and Shirley Millirons Sollars. She married Harry V. Turner on Saturday, April 14, 1951. They were married almost 69 years when Harry died on Tuesday, March 24, 2020. 

She is survived by their four children: Sally (Dana) Kennedy of Mentor, OH, Jenny M. Turner of Bradley. IL, Jerry C. Turner of Greenfield, and Larry (Lynne) Turner of Denver, CO, one grandson: Andy Kennedy. Betty was preceded in death by one sister, Viola Sollars and two brothers: Kenneth and Charles Sollars.   

Betty was a 1949 graduate of the Edward Lee McClain High School. She attended the Chillicothe Business School, Southern State Community College and the Hondros School of Real Estate. Betty was a retired accountant having worked at the American Pad and Textile Co. and the Kenworthy Seed Co in Greenfield. Betty and Harry were licensed Real Estate Agents and had worked with the Wilson Real Estate Company. 

Betty was a member of the Greenfield Church of Christ and was active in the many activities of the church. She had also been a member of the Greenfield Historical Society and was a past member of the Highland County Historical Society and had also been a volunteer at the Paint Creek Pioneer Farm for five years. 

A funeral service will be held at the Greenfield Church of Christ on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 11 a.m. with Danny Dodds officiating. Following the service, Betty will be laid to rest next to her husband, Harry, in Greenfield Cemetery. Family and friends will hold a visitation on Thursday, April 18 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the church. The ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield is serving the family. In lieu of flowers, Betty’s family request memorial contribution to the L.I.F.E. Fund at the Greenfield Church of Christ, 955 W.
