Bestie Jane Simkins

Bestie Simkins, 81, of Chillicothe, died Saturday evening, March 10, 2018, at her home. She was born on October 28, 1936 in Menifee County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Thomas and Laula Profit Pitts. She married her husband of 63 years, Howard Simkins, Jr., and he survives.

Also surviving are one son, Howard Stephens Simkins of Chillicothe, two grandchildren, Howard Jason Simkins and Stephanie Simkins, both of Chillicothe, three great-grandchildren, Brady James, Michael Stephen, and Jason Daniel Simkins, one sister, Leonie (Andy) Vickers of Lewisburg, OH. She was preceded in death by one sister, Pauline Clayton and one brother, Alvin Pitts.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Moore’s Cemetery, Chillicothe with Shaun Raleigh officiating. The EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort is serving the family.
