Beatrice Ruth A"BeaA" Bethel 88 of Kingston formerly of Upper Twin Road died 4:57 pm Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Traditions of Chillicothe. She was born April 6, 1922 in Ross County the daughter of the late Francis and Edith Hafner Brofft.
On July 14, 1940 she married H. Glenn Bethel who died April 9, 1997.
Bea is survived by two children, Ronald (Empress) Bethel of Kingston and Nancy (Mike) Moore of Lexington, KY; daughter-in-law, Connie Shoemaker Bethel of Bainbridge; nine grandchildren, Brent Bethel, Tonni Elliott, Brian Bethel, Todd Moore, Matthew Moore, Kelly Conley, Caleb Young, Mary-Kate Bethel and Samuel Bethel; 12 great grandchildren; numerous great great grandchildren; a sister, Grace Burton of Reynoldsburg, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Larry Jack Bethel; two great grandsons, Larry Jack Bethel and Noah Conley; infant sister, Virginia Brofft and brother, Carl Brofft.
She was a member of the Circleville Church of Christ.
Bea was a very special lady who was loved by all who knew her and she will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held 12 pm noon on Monday, January 17, 2010 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Bainbridge with Jack Ables officiating. Burial will follow in the Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to In Care Hospice, 681 East Third Street, Waverly, 45690.
