Arnett O. Hiser

Arnett O. Hiser 77 of Latham passed from this life Monday, June 20, 2022, at OSU Medical Center, Columbus. He was born October 17, 1944, in Pike County the son of the late Charles O. and Emma (Gragg) Hiser. On September 17, 1967, he married Joann Adkins who passed from this life January 24, 2013.

Arnett is survived by his daughter Shirley (Calvin) Kerns; son Leslie (Kath) Hiser; 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild; 2 sisters Imogene Rooker and Bernice Hiser; and a niece Loretta (Randy) Penwell.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother Everett David Hiser.

Arnett loved to wheel and deal cars, and he enjoyed his Mountain Dew.

Funeral services will be held 1 pm Saturday, June 25, 2022, at the Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home of Bainbridge with Rev. Jeff Adams officiating. Following the service Arnett will be laid to rest beside Joann in the Lapperell Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 11 am until the time of service.
