Harry R. Houser, 86, of Grove City, died at 1:15 a.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at his home. He was born on June 26, 1932 in Ross County, the son of the late Dorcy and Mary Wisecup Houser.
Surviving are seven children, Roseann Sipes of Springfield, Richard (Peggy) Houser of London, Ronda (John) Prushing of Columbus, Rich Houser of Pickerington, Darren (Becky) Houser of Grand Saline TX, Don (Linda) Houser of Clayton NC, Lori Houser of Columbus, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, two sisters, Barbara Stuckey of New Holland, Kay Coffee of Grove City, three brothers, Charles Houser of Clarksburg, Howard Houser of Chillicothe, and Roger Houser of Mexia TX. He was preceded in death by one sister, Irene, and two brothers, Ralph and Paul Houser.
Harry was a 1950 graduate of Atlanta High School and worked as a concrete worker for Independence Concrete, where he would retire.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 14, 2018 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort, with Rev. Jack Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends are invited to visit with the Houser family on Thursday at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m..
