Biography

Michael L. Stroup, 56, of Frankfort died, Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at his residence following an extended illness. He was born on September 1, 1953 in Scioto County the son of the late Herman A. and Wilma P. Moore Stroup.

Michael is survived by his son; Kelly Stroup of Dayton, stepfather; Bill Moore of Dayton, brother; Lonnie (Betty) Stroup of Frankfort, sisters; Teresa (Dale) Knisley of Frankfort, Connie Miller of Dayton, and Ruthanna (Dennis) Resetar, several nieces and nephews and his best friend, Jake. He was preceded in death by a younger sister; Robin L. Stroup and brother; Scotty A Stroup.

In keeping with Michael's wishes cremation has taken place. No calling hours will be observed. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Little Buck Lodge, 2027 Mallow Road, Frankfort, Ohio, where Michael was a member.
