Life Legacy
Marie A. Scales, 53, of Chillicothe, died at Adena Regional Medical Center on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010. She was born on Feb. 13, 1956, in Chillicothe the daughter of Richard and Betty Shields Harris. She married Tecoyit Scales, who survives.
Also surviving are her mother; Betty Harris of Frankfort, children; Michael Harris of Marion, LoVona Harris of Gallipolis, Shea Scales of Phoenix AZ, four grandchildren, sisters; Judy Dutchess, Jody Harris, both of Frankfort, Debbie Howard of Greenfield, brothers; Benjamin Harris of Columbus GA, Ricky Harris of Chillicothe, Johnny Harris of Washington CH, Davie Harris, Charlie Harris, both of Greenfield. She was preceded in death by her father; Richard Harris.
Marie was a homemaker and a member of New Life Christian Church, Chillicothe.
In keeping with the family's wishes, cremation has taken place. No calling hours will be observed. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 1pm on Friday, Feb. 5, 2010 at New Life Christian Church, Chillicothe with Pastor S.L. Cousins officiating.
